Even where companies have appropriate policies and train their staff, it is important to identify any weaknesses, whether in systems or personnel, that may cost the company. Normally, mistakes identified only after a problem has occurred.

We have significant experience of carrying out internal “audits” assessing how companies award or tender for contracts with a view to identifying any weaknesses and necessary remedial action.

Audits can be relatively informal and unobtrusive and result in a written report with recommendations for correcting any weaknesses.

Examples:

·Are contracts placed on correct terms?

·Are contract terms as per authorisations?

·Review contract award procedures and contract terms
